AssuredHow to tell a fake job from a real one
Most people we meet in Nagercoil have lost money once already — ₹200 here, ₹500 there, to someone who promised hotel work. Read these five, then use them on us too.
1. They ask for a registration fee, deposit or 'file charge'.
No real employer in this district charges you to work a day shift. AssuredGig never asks you for a rupee, at any stage, for any reason.
2. They want your Aadhaar photo before telling you the pay.
Pay comes first, always. In our app the pay figure is on the card before you press anything, and ID is only for the business to confirm you on the day.
3. The pay is far above the going rate for that work.
A wedding hall helper day in Nagercoil is ₹700–₹1,200. If someone offers ₹3,000 for the same day, something else is being sold.
4. They will only talk on WhatsApp and will not meet you.
You can walk into our office in Vadasery and meet the person who verified a business. A poster with only a phone number cannot offer you that.
5. They pressure you to decide within minutes.
A real shift is still there in ten minutes. Hurry is a tool.
What to do if it has already happened
Keep the messages and the payment screenshot. Report it on the national cybercrime line 1930, and at your nearest police station. If it involved a listing that claimed to be AssuredGig, come to our office or call +91 93631 60015 — we want to see it.
What we do so this cannot happen here
- Our team meets every business in person before their first shift is listed. No online self-signup for employers.
- Money only moves from the business to you. AssuredGig has no way to take money from a worker — there is no payment screen in the worker app at all.
- The business name and address are hidden on this website so nobody can copy our listings and run them as fake offers elsewhere.
- If pay does not arrive by the end of the shift, report it in the app. We chase it, and a business that does it twice cannot post again.
